Larry Darnell McAfee was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 30, 1968. Mr. McAfee grew up in Easton, Maryland. After graduating from High School, Mr. McAfee attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Larry McAfee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1993. Thereafter, Mr. McAfee attended the Washington College of Law, American University, where he received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1996.
After graduating from law school, Mr. McAfee accepted a position at the Federal Labor Relations Authority, as an attorney advisor in the Office of the Chair. Mr. McAfee left public service in 1997 to practice at a private law firm in the District of Columbia. In 1999, Mr. McAfee accepted a position at Gleason, Flynn, Emig & Fogleman, as a litigation associate. Mr. McAfee was promoted to Member in July 2006.
Larry McAfee is licensed in the State and Federal Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. McAfee practices in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, complex litigation, and business and commercial law.
